Work for truck drivers Our drivers start at 3 a.m. In the morning they load their vehicle at the central depot and then go on a tour arranged by our customers. Approximately 3-5 branches need to be supplied. The driver delivers the new goods to the store, picks up the empty ones and drives back to the warehouse. We call it a “tour”. After that it usually goes to the next round. Then it takes about 9-10 hours. We also go every other Saturday (but only one trip). These are refrigerated goods, our vehicles have a cooling system. Vehicles: We have tractors, 2 and 3 axles and trailers (tandem) Education: Our new drivers undergo at least 2 weeks of training. Apartment: We have branded apartments, two drivers share a room. Working hours and salary: We conclude a German employment contract. Over the course of a month, our drivers work around 210 hours and earn between 2600 and 3500 net, depending on hourly and night shift premiums. The price of the apartment is approximately 180€. Public holidays are 24 days a year. Systems like 2 weeks work, 1 week off (2:1) or 3:1 or 4:2 etc. are also possible. Then colleagues earn 125 euros per working day. Places: We are everywhere.
